POST HORN GALLOP will be performed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday 24th-27th November 2011. This furiously paced comedy will have you laughing from the moment the curtain rises. Lord Elrood, who defends his stately home with his often fired shotgun,  believes that the in-laws, the postman and other tradesmen are foreign agents. When Lady Elrood opens to house to the general public without telling her husband and then discovers that fifty boys scouts are setting up camp on the lawn, there are hilarious consequences. Meanwhile Chester Dreadnought, their son-in-law(played by Rob Brown), is being pursued by two bank robbers who are intent on  stealing a valuable family painting. This play is one of Derek Benfield's best and which has been a joy to rehearse.
